Step into the realm of governance, risk, and compliance with our GRC Analyst Apprenticeship Program! Designed to forge entry-level experts, this hands-on journey blends theory with real-world projects, ensuring you emerge proficient in GRC frameworks and security program development. 

Program Objective

The objective of this apprenticeship program is to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to become proficient entry-level GRC Analysts. The program will focus on governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), assessment/auditing methodologies, and security program development. The training will be comprehensive and hands-on, combining theoretical concepts with practical exercises and real-world* consulting projects to solidify concepts and demonstrate competencies.

Program Outline

Phase 1
Introduction to Cybersecurity and GRC Fundamentals

⦁    Cybersecurity overview and industry trends
⦁    Introduction to governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) principles
⦁    Introduction to security frameworks and regulatory compliance standards (e.g., NIST, CIS, PCI DSS)
⦁    Introduction to assessment methodologies and best practices

Phase 2:
Hands-On Practical Application and Projects

⦁    Hands-on experience through practical exercises and simulations 
⦁    Participating in real-world and/or simulated cybersecurity projects and engagements (as available)
⦁    Developing and presenting assessment findings & reports, security awareness training, and other content

Phase 3
Career Transition Preparation
